Obverse: Persian legend. First part of the couplet with the Mint name (from top to bottom: Hamesha / nur z're wa / sikkah Ilahbad = Forever (may) the light of the gold and the coin of Allhabad .). Regnal year at bottom left, only the digit 5 visible.
Reverse: Persian legend. Last part of the couplet with the names of Jahangir and Akbar (from top to bottom: Ze naame Shah / Jahangir Shah Akbar / Bad[shah] = .(abide) from the name of King Jahangir (son of) Emperor Akbar). The last line of the couplet at bottom is partially illegible. Date at bottom left, only the last digit 5 clearly visible.
