Obverse:
Persian legend. Queen's name and tiltes (From bottom to top: Sikka mubarak Inglistan / Victoria farman rawai / malikah mu'azzamah rafi'ud-darajah = Auspicious coin of Victoria lawful Queen of England, Her Majesty's ally). Mint mark: a rosette of six dots at right over the 'i' of 'rawai'.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (From bottom to top: Sanat 22 julus maimanat manus / zarb dar-al-riyasat Jaisalmer = Struck in the House of Government Jaisalmer in the year 22 (of her) reign associated with prosperity). Mint marks: a rosette of six dots in the 's' of 'manus', a rosette of seven dots at top over the 'b' of 'zarb', the Pálam (sacred bird) at left of the regnal year (22) and the Chhátá (royal umbrella) at right over 'maimanat'.
