Persian legend. Queen's name and tiltes (From bottom to top: Sikka mubarak Inglistan / Victoria farman rawai / malikah mu'azzamah rafi'ud-darajah = Auspicious coin of Victoria lawful Queen of England, Her Majesty's ally).

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (From bottom to top: Sanat 22 julus maimanat manus / zarb dar-al-riyasat Jaisalmer = Struck in the House of Government Jaisalmer in the year 22 (of her) reign associated with prosperity). Mint marks: a rosette of six dots in the 's' of 'manus', the Pálam (sacred bird) at left of the regnal year (22) and the Chhátá (royal umbrella) at right over 'maimanat'.
