Persian legend. Emperor's name and titles (From bottom to top: Sikkah mubarak / Badshah Ghazi / Shah Alam = Auspicious coin of the Emperor, Warrior against the infidels, Shah Alam). Date (off the flan) in centre left. Border of dots within two linear circles.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (From bottom to top: Malharnagar Zarb /sanat (xx) julus / maimanat manus = struck at Malharnagar, (in the) year xx (of his) reign associated with prosperity). Symbols: ornamental plant at left and radiant Sun face in the 'S' of 'Julus', in the central line.
