Persian legend. Ruler's name and titles (from bottom to top: [Sikkah mubarak] / Badshah Ghazi / Shah Alam = Auspicious coin of the Emperor, Warrior against the infidels, Shah Alam). Date off the flan. Mint marks in field.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (from bottom to top: [Zarb Ahmadabad / sana]t 4[x] julus / maimanat manus = struck at Ahmadabad, (in the) year 4x (of his) reign associated with prosperity). Symbols: Nagari GA below Julus, Ankus (Maratha mark *) in the S of Julus and Flower in the S of Manus.
