Date (1254) above the bottom line in centre-left. Mint mark 30 below the top line at right and 28 below the bottom line at left. Ornaments of dots in field.

Shah's arms in centre: a fish between two human figures, bare-headed, standing on a scroll, supporting a crown with one hand and holding a fly whisk in the other. Persian legend around: Country name, Mint name with epithet and Julus formula (clockwise, starting at bottom left: Zarb Suba Awadh Bait es-Sultanat Lakhnau sanah 2 julus maimanat manus = Struck in the Province of Awadh, at the House of the Sultanate, Lucknow, (in the) year 2 (of his) reign associated with prosperity).
