Persian legend. Couplet with the Ruler's name (from bottom to top: [Au]j mahi ta [be-mah] / s[ikkah za]n bar sim wa zar az / Hokam be Ahmad badshah / shod az Qadir bi-chun = The command come from the Powerful One, who has none like Him, to Ahmad the Emperor, to strike coin on silver and gold from the height of the Fish up to the Moon). Date (1273) below the top line at left.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and regnal year (From bottom to top: Zarb Dyrah / Sanat 14 = Struck at Dera (in the regnal) year 14). Flower at top left. Border of dots.
