Obverse: Persian legend. Couplet with the Ruler's name. In small foliated area in centre the Ruler's name (From bottom to top: Sikkah / Shah Taimur = Stamp of Taimur Shah). Remainder of couplet filling margin, beginning at 12 o'clock and reading autwords (xxx = The revolution (of the heavens) brings gold and silver from the sun and the moon, in order that may make on the face (of the metal) the design of the .).
Reverse: Persian legend. Mint name, Julus formula and date (From bottom to top: Zarb Bhakhar / julus 1191 / maimanat manus = Struck at Bhakhar (in the year) 1191 (of his) reign associated with prosperity).
