Obverse:
Persian legend. Ruler's name and titles (from bottom to top: [Sikkah mubarak / Bad]shah Gahzi / [Muhamma]d Akbar Shah = Auspicious coin of the Emperor, Warrior against the infidels, Muhammad Akbar Shah). Date (1244) at top. Ornaments of dots in field. Linear circle and circle of dots on border.

Reverse:
Persian legend. Mint name and Julus formula (from bottom to top: Raigarh Zarb / sanah 24 julus / maimanat manus = Struck at Rajgarh, (in the) year 24 (of his) reign associated with prosperity). Six-branched jhar at right. Ornaments of dots in field.
