Obverse:
Persian legend. Couplet with the Ruler's name and the date (xxx = The revolution (of the heavens) brings gold and silver from the sun and the moon, in order that may make on the face (of the metal) the design of the stamp of Taimur Shah). The date (1207) is below the bottom line at left.

Reverse:
Persian legend. In a linerar circle the Mint name with epithet and the date (In a mixed order: Zarb / Hirat / Daru-s-Saltanat = Struck at Herat, the Seat of the Sovereignty). The word Zarb is at top. The date (1207) is over the S of Sultanat, in the central line at right. Border of dots.
